— Problem to solve —

Create a mobile app dedicated to the Orsay museum (Musée d'Orsay, Paris). The objective is to change the classic museum experience to a rich and playful visit. Thanks to the App, each visitor will deeply discover the museum and artists' collection and play some art educative games.

High-level goals

After many observations and personal user research, I noticed that going to a museum alone or with kids doesn’t offer the best experience.

The main reasons could be:

You observe a painting you like but don’t have enough information about it?
Would you like to see more paintings by the artist?
You are with your kids, but the experience is too long and not attractive enough for them?

Solutions

Create an interactive app to improve the user’s experience at the museum
Extend the user-centric target by creating an app for all the family
Personalised the App content according to the user
Increase the user’s adoption and engagement with the museum

Approach and research

After analysing the users' needs, I created a map and a sitemap to clarify the main features.
When each functionality and the flow were validated, I built the wireframe to illustrate each screen from the future mobile app.
